Zcash Tracker privacy policy
Zcash Tracker: ZEC Price · App Store
This policy explains how the Zcash Tracker: ZEC Price app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro (the "app") handles information. The app is made by Daniel Gnecco, trading as Plenty ("we", "us"). Questions: hello@plenty.health.
The short version: there's no account and no ads. The only data listed on the app's App Store privacy label is purchase history, not linked to your identity, used to unlock Pro. Your holdings and settings stay on your device.
1. Information on your device
The following is stored locally on your device so the app can work:
- ZEC holdings and cost basis you choose to enter for portfolio tracking
- Price alert targets you set
- Your settings, such as widget appearance
- Recently downloaded price and network data, so the app and widgets can show the latest values
Widgets read this information through Apple's on-device app group storage. Deleting the app deletes this data.
2. Price and network data
To show the ZEC price, charts, on-chain statistics and treasury information, the app downloads public market and network data from third-party data services. These requests don't include your holdings, alerts or any account information, because there is no account. Like any internet request, they reveal your device's IP address and basic technical details to the service that answers them, which the service may process under its own policies.
3. Price alerts and notifications
Price alerts are used only to notify you when ZEC reaches the target you set. If you allow notifications, you can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings. We don't use notifications for advertising.
4. Purchases
Zcash Tracker Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through your Apple Account; we never see your payment details. To confirm that Pro is unlocked, including for people who bought the app during its paid period, the app checks purchase information with Apple and may use a purchase-management service that receives an anonymous identifier and receipt information, never your name, email address or payment details. This is the "purchase history, not linked to you" data on the App Store label. Apple's handling of payments is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. What we don't do
- We don't require or offer an account.
- We don't connect to your wallet, ask for private keys or seed phrases, or move funds. The app only displays information.
- We don't sell personal data, show ads, or use advertising or tracking SDKs, and the app doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
6. Your choices and rights
Because your information lives on your device, you control it directly: edit or delete holdings and alerts in the app, or delete the app to remove everything. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold. For any privacy question or request, email hello@plenty.health.
7. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Not financial advice
Information in the app is for general information only and may be delayed or inaccurate. It isn't investment, financial or tax advice.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially affects how the app uses your information, we'll also tell you in the app or on the App Store listing.
